The small village in the north of Thailand named Chiang Khong. This village is on the bank of the longest river in Asia, the Mae Khong river. On this trip, we must stay overnight in a lovely guest house over the river.
The imagined temple or Rong Khun Temple in Chiang Rai province is the most interesting place in the north of Thailand, we stop here to visit this place and take a photo on our route.
After having breakfast at the Chiang Khong River side at the Guest house, we use the local ferry to take you across the Mae Khong River to Huay Sai Pier in Republic of Lao Country. And the Local Speedboat starts from here.
Mae Khong river is the longest river of Asia; we are going to run following the river from Thailand to Laos.
Trip by local speed boat is the art of emotion control. It moves along the Mae Khong River as we have got art pictures around on the river side.
We stop for lunch at "Pak Beng"- the country town of Laos Republic- is between our river routes to Luang Prabang. We are going to have lunch here.
Mae Khong river is not just the longest, but it is very beautiful as well. Every 10 meters of the route, you will see the changing of the River side picture view. This is a reason the people chose to take this trip. ”The journey is more important than the aim destination”
After an 11 hours local speed boat run from the first stop, we got to the destination "Luang Prabang" at sunset time.

Pick up from every hotel in Chiang Mai by air-condition minibus.(Chiang Mai town only)
We drive directly across the rural road to Chiang Khong on the north end. |

Visit Wat RongKhun or imagined white temple. Take a break. |

Depart for Ching Khong. |

Arrival Chiang Khong town, check in and overnight here. |

Check out at our hotel and goodbye to the small town.
Cross the border to Laos republic and do the immigration process.
Take a short trip crossing the Kong River to the local speed boat pier at Huay Sai. |
