The small village in the north of Thailand named Chiang Khong. This village is on the bank of the longest river in Asia, the Mae-Khong river. On this trip, we must stay overnight in a lovely guest house over the river.
The imagined temple or Rong Khun temple in Chiang Rai province is the most interesting place in the north of Thailand, we stop here to visit this place and take a photo on our route.
After having breakfast at the Chiang Khong river side guest house, we use the local people's ferry to take you across the Khong river to the cruising starter point Huay Sai Pier in Republic of Lao Country.
Mae Khong river is the longest river of Asia; we are going to cruise following the river from Thailand to Laos.
Trekking by Cruise is the art of emotion control. It is slowly moving as we have got art pictures around on the river side.
After 10 hours cruising, we have got the half route; we have to stop at the riverside country town PakBeng town. Even though this is in the countryside of the Lao Republic’s area, the town is very charming with a variety of local Lao people living life. We drive directly across the rural road to Chiang Khong on the north end of North. |

Depart for Chiang Khong. |
